BOA celebrates family day

Bank of Africa(BOA) Managing Director Ammish Owusu Amoah

BANK of Africa (BOA) Managing Director Ammish Owusu Amoah has reminded the community to be mindful of others in the society as December festivities approach.

Amoah made the remark during this year’s Family Day party hosted by BOA in Dar es Salaam over the weekend.

Stressing on the importance of family in the organization he said the bank will always strive to ensure that their staff concerns both in and out of the office are adequately addressed to reduce chances of
suffering from depression or stress.

The fun-filled event saw the bank engage their staff and their families in various sporting and mind games
that sought to bring out creativity and innovation which form part of the group’s core values.

Amoah, however, noted that the bank is eager to serve its customers as they close the year and look forward to 2014.

He reiterated that the event was meant to enhance a sense of togetherness within the bank in line with the banks slogan: “As close as a group as strong as a partner”, which means that the same not only applies to the relationship with the banks to its customers but also to their relationship with staff and their families.

On his part, BOA Marketing and Communication Manager Solomon Haule said family day celebrations enabled staff and their families to cooperate and motivated each other in various issues, adding that such motivation gives employees’ morale.

He said some of the competitions held during family day celebration were swimming, volleyball, chicken chase. Bank of Africa Tanzania Ltd has a network of 19 branches in Tanzania currently.
